Well it’s official I am back at home..no more breaks for me for a long time (insert sigh here)! But, on the bright side I have a lot of new ideas for my place and now I can start to implement them. I am going to have to be really crafty, because my decorating budget is in the negatives…but crafty is more fun anyway.

Here are the newest things I have gotten for the house:

I found this picture in a thrift store while visiting my sister. I liked it because the spine of the book standing up shows that it is a psychology text book. It will look great in my home office. I didn’t buy it because it was outside of my price range, but my sister did! Imagine my surprise when I opened it up at Christmas. My office is in no way ready to be photographed, but hopefully I will get it done soon and you can see the picture in the context of the room!

I picked these hanging frames up from a dollar store of all places (I got them all for $21 dollars). They look fantastic hanging in my beach themed bedroom. I cannot wait to get them filled with pics from my beach and lake trips!

These shells are made from a substance like sandstone. I got them at TJ Maxx for less than $6.00. I plan to use them to hang necklaces and bracelets on.

Finally I have updated the dresser from a previous post with new knobs. I like it so much better now.
